who we serve
Although each resident of Guest House has her own story, many women share similar experiences.
A typical Guest House resident:
> Is 30 years old
> Has been convicted of a non-violent crime such
as forgery, probation violation, drug possession or distribution, larceny, or prostitution
> Has suffered physical, emotional,
and/or sexual abuse
   > Has a history of substance abuse
> Has two or more children who are in
the care of family, friends or in foster care
> Does not have a high school diploma
> Does not have formal job skills
> Lacks self-esteem
