ways to help

When you support Friends of Guest House, you help Northern Virginia women succeed at the difficult transition from incarceration back into our communities.

In Northern Virginia, Guest House is the only reentry program that is comprehensive - and - tailored to women’s unique needs. More about our programs here.

And we're expanding! The expansion started in June 2016, to increase the number of women served each year from 190 in FY2016 to 260–300 in FY2018—about a 50% increase To meet the goal, Friends of Guest House needs you.

For clients

"Guest House helps you dig deep and look at yourself. Without their compassion, without the teachers, without the love that gives us hope, there is no way that anyone who has lived the life that we have lived can grow—can become responsible, loving, caring people. We need your help. Please."
—MICHELLE (client)

“With no other program like Guest House available in Northern Virginia, we rely heavily on them to provide critical reintegration services to our female clients that qualify for their program. We see the difference in the women that go through the Guest House program and those that do not."
—CHIEF C.W. RORRER, Probation & Parole Officer, Adult Probation and Parole District 10, Virginia Department of Corrections
