ways to help
When you support Friends of Guest House, you help Northern Virginia women succeed at the difficult transition from incarceration back into our communities.
In Northern Virginia, Guest House is the only reentry program that is comprehensive - and - tailored to women’s unique needs. More about our programs here.
And we're expanding! The expansion started in June 2016, to increase the number of women served each year from 190 in FY2016 to 260–300 in FY2018—about a 50% increase To meet the goal, Friends of Guest House needs you.
Here are some of the many ways to get involved:
Our work is funded by state and local government agencies, foundations, religious groups, businesses and individuals. Guest House is a member of United Way of the National Capital Area, and one of the Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington's “best smaller charities” for 2015–2016. Guest House is a 501(c)(3) public charity; Federal ID# 51-0201327.
