We are grateful to the numerous individual and corporate donors for their generous support, which has enabled Friends of Guest House to expand and enhance its quality programs.

Friends of Guest House continues to seek out new sources of corporate and foundation giving. If you have contacts at foundations or corporations or if you have other funding suggestions, please call us at 703.549.9072. And, remember, if you work for a company that has a matching gift program, you can double your contribution to Friends of Guest House.

Friends of Guest House is a United Way participant. During your annual workplace campaign, fill in 8583 to designate your contribution to Friends of Guest House or 69155 for the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area (CFCNCA).

Guest House receives $5000 grant from the Social Justice Fund of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington (UUCA) to support the growing advocacy work of our Speakers Bureau.

> Graduates Honored
On Saturday, July 18, Friends of Guest House honored the graduates of its After-Care Program in the Chapel of the Alfred Street Baptist Church. Ten beaming women lined up to receive the certificates signifying successful completion of the Guest House program – truly a step in the right direction.

Friends of Guest House is doing such amazing and effective work that it was honored by the Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington as one of the area’s Best Small Charities.
